College Football Schedule, Week 12: Penn State Travels To Columbus To Battle Ohio State

The Penn State Nittany Lions (8-2, 5-1 Big Ten) travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes (6-4, 3-3 Big Ten) in Penn State's first road game since a child abuse sex scandal rocked the University. The Nittany Lions put forth a valiant effort last Saturday before falling 17-14 at home to the Nebraska Cornhuskers in PSU's first game since legendary coach Joe Paterno was fired.

With a win over the Buckeyes, the Nittany Lions would clinch at least a share of the Leaders Division title. Penn State could then win the division outright with a win over Wisconsin next weekend, placing the team in the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game.

The other huge conference matchup Saturday sees the Michigan Wolverines take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers. At 4-2 in Big Ten play, both Michigan and Nebraska trail the Michigan State Spartans by a game in the Legends Division. The Wolverines, courtesy of a head-to-head loss to Sparty, would be eliminated from the division race with a loss.
