Penn State vs. Ohio State: Stephfon Green Scores Early Touchdown

COLUMBUS, Ohio--Ohio State won the toss and deferred to the second half. After a touchback on the game's opening kickoff, Brandon Beachum started the game at tailback for the Nittany Lions. Silas Redd got his first carry of the game on the second snap from scrimmage, though, so it appears he's at least partially recovered from his shoulder injury last week.

Penn State picks up a pair of first down on its first two sets of downs and breaks into Buckeye territory.

On 2nd-and-7 from the Ohio State 40, Stephfon Green breaks free for a 40-yard touchdown run to put the Nittany Lions up 7-0 early on the Buckeyes. That's a huge opening drive touchdown on the road for an offense that has needed time to get going in most of its big games this season. We'll see if it sparks Penn State to a big performance today.

Penn State scoring summary: 5 plays, 80 yards, 2:33 time of possession.

Note: Wide receiver Curtis Drake was in as a wildcat quarterback on the touchdown run. Looks like interim coach Tom Bradley is going to get a little tricky today.
