COLUMBUS, Ohio--Penn State's Silas Redd has taken a couple of brutal shots today, including one on the first play after Ohio State scored to make it 10-7 Penn State. He shakes the hit off, though, and makes tacklers miss everywhere for a 42-yard gain down to Ohio State's 36-yardline. He was lightning quick on that one. Wow.
After Redd's big run, Matthew McGloin finds Derek Moye for a gain of 20 into Ohio State's red zone. On the next play, Bill Belton picks up 12 out of the wildcat down to the Buckeyes' 4-yardline.
Stephfon Green scores a touchdown on the next play, and just like that, Penn State is back out to a 10-point lead at 17-7 with 10:05. After all the struggles last week against Nebraska, the Nittany Lions have scored on their first three possessions today and look like a team not seen all Big Ten season on offense.
Penn State scoring summary: 5 plays, 81 yards, 2:20 time of possession.
