COLUMBUS, Ohio--Penn State's Tom Bradley got his first win as a head coach on Saturday when his Nittany Lions topped Ohio State 20-14 at Ohio Stadium. The win was also Penn State's first without former coach Joe Paterno on the coaching staff since 1949.
Not small accomplishments on their own, to be sure.
The win also guaranteed this Lions at least a share of the first Leaders Division title in Big Ten Conference history, however, adding to the importance of the victory. Penn State must still defeat Wisconsin next weekend to earn the division's berth in the inaugural Big Ten Championship game on Dec. 3 in Indianapolis, but this team assured its name will go down in the history books as one of the conference's first division winners in its 116-year football history.
After the game, coach Bradley addressed his players in the locker room. Check out video of that moment below, courtesy of GoPSUSports.com
