Penn State Vs. Wisconsin: Badgers Take 14 Point Lead Into Halftime

The Penn State Nittany Lions and Wisconsin Badgers were all knotted up at 7-7 when the first quarter ended, but the Badgers were on the goal line as the second quarter started. Running back Montee Ball punched the ball in on the 1-yard touchdown run to put the Badgers up 14-7.

On Penn State's next drive, it was killed early by back to back penalties, forcing the Nittany Lions to go three-and-out. The PSU defense held strong against Russell Wilson and the Badgers offense, forcing a punt after six plays on the next drive. Once again however, PSU couldn't do much on the drive going three-and-out again.

On the Badgers following drive, the Russell Wilson show started. The Wisconsin quarterback engineered an 11-play, 83-yard touchdown drive. Montee Ball once again punched the ball in to take a 21-7 lead on the Nittany Lions. On the kick off, disaster struck for PSU as Michael Zordich fumbled the ball, allowing the Badgers to recover in PSU territory.

It took just six plays for Russell Wilson to connect with Nick Toon for a touchdown, putting the Badgers up 28-7. It will be tough for Penn State's offense to catch up with that score, but their defense is going to have to slow down Wilson and the rest of the Badgers offense to have a chance.
