Penn State vs. Duquesne: Lions Defending Perimeter Well

Penn State is dominating on the boards as expected. The Nittany Lions have pushed their rebounding margin to +10 and currently lead in that department by a margin of 19-9. We'll see if that continues.

The refs continue to call a lot of fouls. Both teams are in the bonus, and Patrick Ackerman just checked in for the Lions. He has played sparingly all season, but given the foul situation, Chambers clearly wants to make sure he has his guys further up the bench for later on.

These two teams are very even early on. Neither can get much separation in the early going as the shooting percentages remain relatively low. Duquesne is struggling especially from the perimeter. They're just 3-11 now after a hot start, something that has to make Penn State coach Patrick Chambers pretty happy.

With 3:22, Penn State leads Duquesne by a score of 28-24 here at CONSOL Energy Center.
