Penn State Coaching Search: Todd Graham Out At Pitt

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Paul Zeise reported early Wednesday afternoon that Pitt coach Todd Graham has accepted the head coaching position at Arizona State. That leaves vacant the same Panthers job that Penn State interim head coach Tom Bradley interviewed for less than a year ago.

Whether Bradley will be a candidate for the Pitt job this time around remains to be seen, but he told TribLive Radio's Guy Junker and Ken Laird on Wednesday morning that he has not yet interviewed with Penn State acting athletic director David Joyner and his six-person search committee, meaning Bradley is far from bound to the Nittany Lions at this point.

With coaching searches now ongoing at both Pitt and Penn State, western Pennsylvania's fertile recruiting turf is now ripe for the picking for schools across the Northeast and Midwest, including Pitt and Penn State's conference rivals Ohio State, Michigan and West Virginia.
