Penn State interim head coach Tom Bradley will interview for the permanent head coaching position today according to a tweet from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Ron Musselman. The reporter believes it is likely a courtesy interview.
On Wednesday, Bradley told TribLive Radio's Guy Junker and Ken Laird that he had not yet interviewed with acting athletic director David Joyner and his six-person search committee to replace Joe Paterno on a full-time level. He said scheduling conflicts had made arranging an interview difficult, but it appears those hurdles have been cleared.
Bradley assumed head coaching duties on Nov. 9 when Paterno was fired in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal. He's set to lead the Nittany Lions in the Jan. 2 TicketCity Bowl in Dallas, though the committee has said it would like to have a replacement for Paterno named before the game.
