Michigan Vs. Penn State First Half Updates: Lions Stay Ahead

A Steeler fan just won a Pittsburgh-Green Bay dance contest during the timeout.

Billy Oliver is the first player off the bench for Penn State, he replaces Andrew Jones.

Jermaine Marshall checks into the game as well as Tim Frazier picks up his second foul. Penn State can't really afford anyone else getting into foul trouble today. If that happens, it'll be a real test of the Lions' depth, certainly not one of their strengths.

Michigan has struggled early, but they're hanging around. Penn State has missed some open looks that could have buried them. The Lions better hope that doesn't come back to bite them.

Penn State is really playing well defensively here in the early going. They've forced Michigan to use a lot of clock, something it doesn't like to do, and is coming up with stops. The Penn State offense is looking pretty average with out Brooks, but the three guard lineup we've seen much of the game looks to be working in stopping the Wolverines.

With 7:44 to play in the first half, Penn State leads 21-13.
