Black Shoe Diaries notices that Penn State's football team won't be featured on ESPN/ABC's primetime schedule. Here it is (all times Eastern):
↵September 1
UNLV at Wisconsin, 8:00 p.m., ESPN
September 10
Notre Dame at Michigan, 8:00 p.m., ESPN
October 1
Nebraska at Wisconsin, 8:00 p.m., ABC or ESPN or ESPN2
Notre Dame at Purdue, 8:00 p.m., ABC or ESPN or ESPN2
October 8
Ohio State at Nebraska, 8:00 p.m., ABC or ESPN or ESPN2
October 22
Wisconsin at Michigan State, 8:00 p.m., ABC or ESPN or ESPN2
October 29
Wisconsin at Ohio State, 8:00 p.m., ABC or ESPN or ESPN2
That's an awful lot of Wisconsin, obviously, but I suppose that's what happens when you go to the Rose Bowl. As for the Nittany Lions' absence, Black Shoe Diaries notes that this doesn't have to mean there's some massive conspiracy against them - this is simply what can happen when you go 7-6 the previous year and don't have an established quarterback.
