Penn State Vs. Eastern Michigan: Joe Paterno Seeks Consistency From Wide Receivers

Penn State wide receivers Derek Moye and Justin Brown had breakout games against Temple in the Nittany Lions' 14-10 win against the Owls at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday. Moye led Penn State receivers with 112 yards on seven catches while Brown racked up 62 yards on six catches of his own after the pair combined for just 11 receptions in the Lions' first two games against Indiana State and Alabama.

At his weekly press conference on Tuesday, coach Joe Paterno praised his receivers, but still wants to see more moving forward.

"I think they're doing well," Paterno said. "There again, we haven't made some plays in the clutch we've had to make. We dropped the ball in a key situation against Alabama...the biggest problem that we have right now is we've just got to be consistent in all phases of the game."

Moye, Brown and all of Penn State's wide receivers will get a chance to keep their momentum going on Saturday when the Lions host Eastern Michigan at noon inside Beaver Stadium.
