Penn State vs. Eastern Michigan: Nittany Lions Take 3-0 Lead

Rob Bolden is out once again for Penn State's second drive and hits Curtis Drake (!) on his first pass of the drive for 17 yards. I guess that answers any questions of whether Drake is ready to get back in there.

Penn State gets a first down on a rush by Silas Redd, then another on an 11-yard completion from Bolden to Justin Brown. Bolden looks sharp and confident early today.

The Lions' drive stalls, however, following a false start penalty, which brings on Anthony Fera for his first field goal attempt of the season. He drills it from 29 yards. If you're the Penn State coaches, you've got to love that after the debacle at Temple last week when Evan Lewis missed two field goals and Sam Ficken had one blocked.

Penn State scoring drive: 7 plays, 45 yards, 3:11 time of possession.

The Pennsylvania Little League World Series team is being honored down on the field.
