Penn State vs. Eastern Michigan: Nittany Lions Lead 17-0 At Half

Following the touchback after Michael Zorich's fumble down near the goal, the Penn State defense picks the offense up by forcing another tunover, this time an interception by safety Nick Sukay on 3rd-and-11.

Matthew McGloin returns at quarterback for his third drive and hits Devon Smith for 17 yards to get Penn State down to the Eastern Michigan 5-yardline.

McGloin finally misses on a pass, a throw to Derek Moye in the far corner of the endzone. He comes right back, however, and hits Moye for a 5-yard touchdown to put Penn State up 17-0 with :56 remaining in the first half.

Penn State's scoring summary: 5 plays 31 yards :47 time of possession.

McGloin is now 9-10 for 145 yards and two scores. As good as Rob Bolden looked early in going 6-8 for 44 yards, the offense has looked as healthy as it has all year with McGloin back there.

On the touchdown, Derek Moye became Penn State's sixth 2,000-yard receiver ever.

There's the end of the half. Penn State still leads 17-0. We'll have stats in a minute, here, so stay tuned.
