Penn State just got some good news on injured cornerback D'Anton Lynn following its 34-6 win against Eastern Michigan here at Beaver Stadium. Here's an update from assistant athletic director Jeff Nelson:
Lynn was injured at the end of the third quarter on an Eastern Michigan pass play that caused a collision between Lynn, two of his teammates and an Eastern Michigan receiver. He laid motionless on the field until trainers arrived and had to be carted off the field strapped to a board.
His status for next week's Big Ten opener at Indiana remains uncertain.
