Penn State Vs. Indiana State: Nittany Lions Lead 14-0 After First Quarter

Penn State just wrapped up a pretty ugly drive that ended with wide receiver Derek Moye getting mobbed in the back field on a fourth down attempt while running a reverse. Nothing very spectacular happened on the drive beyond Rob Bolden taking a pretty unnecessary hit on a run downfield. If he's going to avoid another concussion like the one that sidelined him last season, he has to slide in that situation.

Some observations a quarter into the season.

-Rob Bolden is throwing all of his incompletions long. He probably needs to settle down a little bit and work on his touch as the game progresses.

-The running game looks good, as mentioned earlier. Lots of good blocks being thrown and lots of good reads by the tailbacks.

-The defense is dominating at the moment. The Sycamores did just hit a 29-yard pass down the middle, but other than that, Indiana State has been given nothing.
