Penn State Still Won't Choose Between Rob Bolden And Matt McGloin

After the Penn State Nittany Lions' rout of Indiana State on Saturday and with a key matchup on tap against a formidable Alabama team, PSU's coaches still haven't decided on Rob Bolden or Matt McGloin as their starting quarterback.

"Both of them can do things to help us win," quarterbacks coach Jay Paterno said.

In the article linked above, Cory Giger outlines the two players' performances against Indiana State. The Nittany Lions didn't rely much on the passing game, but when they did, McGloin put up better numbers. But that might have been different if Derek Moye had been able to hold onto a well-thrown ball by Bolden, and if Indiana State had been able to seal the deal on a potential interception by McGloin.

We'll see what happens next week. I'm not positive clarity is what the Nittany Lions need at quarterback right now anyway, particularly if they're going to have to change their minds when the guy they pick has a bad game.
