2012 Big Ten Football Standings: Ohio State, Penn State atop Leaders Division heading into showdown

The Ohio State Buckeyes and Penn State Nittany Lions remain undefeated in Big Ten play heading into their showdown on Saturday in Happy Valley.

The Ohio State Buckeyes and Penn State Nittany Lions sit atop the Big Ten Leaders Division, perfectly setting up Saturday's highly anticipated matchup in Happy Valley.

Although neither team is eligible to play in the Big Ten Championship Game, they are eligible to win the Leaders Division, so the winner of Saturday's contest will grab the upper hand. Ohio State is currently 4-0 in the conference, barely getting by the Purdue Boilermakers 29-22 in overtime this past weekend. Penn State is 3-0 in the Big Ten, putting forth an impressive display in a 38-14 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes. The Wisconsin Badgers are nipping at the heels of the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions with a conference record of 3-1.

In the Legends Division, the Michigan Wolverines stay on top after a thrilling last-second win over in-state rival Michigan State. Iowa and the Nebraska Cornhuskers are one game behind the Wolverines at 2-1.
