2012 Big Ten Football Standings: Penn State tied for 1st in Leaders Division

Penn State University has won their last four games and are tied with the Ohio State Buckeyes for first place in the Legends Division of the Big Ten Conference.

Penn State University is tied for first place in the Leaders Division in the Big Ten after registering a win in their second straight conference game. Following an impressive win in their conference schedule opener at Illinois, Penn State defeated Northwestern this past Saturday as part of Homecoming weekend by a final score of 39-29.

The Nittany Lions have now registered wins in their last four games after dropping the first two games of the season. The school is tied with Ohio State for the top spot in Leaders Division as both teams have a 2-0 record in Big Ten play. Ohio State is currently undefeated on the season, sitting with a 6-0 overall record.

In the Legends Division, the Michigan Wolverines and Iowa Hawkeyes share control of the top spot with a 1-0 conference record in addition to both teams holding a 3-2 overall record.
