Penn State Vs. Iowa: Nittany Lions Take 38-24 Halftime Lead

Penn State took a 38-24 lead into halftime of its game against Iowa on Thursday night at the Bryce Jordan Center behind some strong defense and a balanced scoring effort.

The Nittany Lions (11-15, 3-10 Big Ten) shot 44.4 percent from the field and spread the scoring around. Eight players tallied points for Patrick Chambers' squad, led by Cammeron Woodyard's 12 points on 4-6 shooting and Jonathan Graham's six points and four rebounds. The Lions also held the Hawkeyes (13-12, 5-7 Big Ten) to percent 26.9 percent shooting from the field and turned the ball over just five times.

Aaron White was the big scorer for Iowa, finishing with 10 points. Roy Devyn Marble had nine points, but no other Hawkeye player had more than two points beyond that pair.
