The 2012 Women's NCAA tournament bracket will be released on Monday night. Fans can watch the NCAA selection show on ESPN at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
Penn State should have tournament bid, despite losing to Purdue in the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament on March 3. The Lady Lion were ranked No. 12 nationally in the most recent ESPN poll.
The latest bracketology prediction from ESPN's Charlie Creme has the Lady Lions as the third seed in the Kingston regional. According to Creme's prediction, Penn State would face the University of Tennessee - Martin Skyhawks in the tournament's opening round.
West Virginia is also predicted to make the tournament, despite being eliminated from the Big East tournament by Notre Dame, which is ranked third in the country. The Mountaineers are 23-9 and have wins over Notre Dame (back in February), Louisville, Rutgers and Georgetown.
