With the rumors that former Maryland quarterback Danny O'Brien has an interest in playing at Penn State this fall, new Nittany Lions head coach Bill O'Brien confirmed the quarterback's interest in playing for the program on Wednesday afternoon.

The head coach also announced the three quarterbacks that will compete at spring practice to be Penn State's starter for the upcoming season.

Matt McGloin and Robert Boldin split time at quarterback last season for Penn State. Paul Jones, who missed last season for academic problems, remains eligible at this point, yet it remains to be seen if he will be eligible this season.
