Temple Vs. Penn State: Fans Happy To Be Able To Concentrate On Winning Football

Penn State picked up its second-straight win on Saturday, and have moved to 2-2 on the season. They're not going to be able to compete in the postseason, but so much about the beginning of this season was about winning in spite of the drama. For Nittany Lions fans, being able to move on and concentrate on the players in the game is the best thing about progressing so far this season.

And picking up a couple wins here and there is nice, too. Devon Edwards of SB Nation's Black Shoe Diaries talked about the nice change of being able to focus on the team and more accurately, the win.

And hell, there's one goal this team can still accomplish, and that's winning the Leaders Division. You can't change the past, of course, and right now, it's just as nice to focus on the impressive win this team just finished up.

Among the positive topics discussed was the progression of quarterback Matt McGloin. They talk about how he's gone from gunslinger to game manager and how he is a great fit for the offense. They also went on to give grades for the victory, with no unit getting below a 'B.' The lowest grade went to the offensive line, which struggled early, but pulled it together near the end of the game to keep the offense running smoothly.
