NCAA Football Rankings, Week 6: Stanford drops, but top teams remain intact in latest Coaches' Poll

There was not much change in the leaders of this week's USA Today Coaches' Poll with the exception of Stanford falling from No. 9 to No. 18. Alabama still sits in the No. 1 spot with Oregon behind them.

There was relatively little change in the USA Today Coaches' Poll this week with the biggest casualty being the Standford Cardinal, falling from No. 9 to No. 18 after they were upset on Thursday night by the Washington Huskies.

The Alabama Crimson Tide, Oregon Ducks, LSU Tigers and Florida State Seminoles remained intact atop the Coaches' Poll.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights and Oregon State Beavers made the biggest jumps, moving up four spots each. Rutgers moved from No. 25 last week to No. 21 in the newest poll and Oregon State climbed from No. 21 to No. 17.

Four teams joined the rankings: No. 22 Northwestern, No. 23 Cincinnati, No. 24 Texas Tech and No. 25 Boise State. The four teams to fall out of the rankings were Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Wisconsin, Baylor and Virginia Tech.
