Pitt will honor injured Rutgers player Eric LeGrand when the two teams meet at Heinz Field this weekend. The team will be preparing a special bannerin tribute to LeGrand, who was paralyzed in Rutgers' win against Army last week:
↵↵↵The Pitt athletic department has created a banner with the message "Pitt is pulling for Eric LeGrand" and it will hang at the Petersen Events Center, then it will be moved down in the Student Union later in the week.
↵Pitt's players, students and members of the university community at large are being encouraged to sign the banner and offer words of encouragement and it will then be on display at Heinz Field Saturday for the game near the student section.

I would expect the team to also have some sort of a pregame tribute and/or mention of LeGrand as well. Small, but classy move by the school. Former Penn State CB Adam Taliaferro who was also paralyzed during a game, has offered his support. Taliaferro later was able to walk and recovered from the injury.
