Pitt Vs. Maryland: Sloppy Pitt Leads 31-27

Pitt leads Maryland at the half 31-27 despite playing its worst half of the season.

The Panthers are only shooting 32% from the field to Maryland’s 48% and while they only have three turnovers, the team has missed a variety of close shots and layups.

One thing Pitt is doing well is rebounding. They’re +8 on the glass and have a total of 22. No Panther has more than six points and is playing all that well right now. Ashton Gibbs leads the way with six points and six rebounds.

On a fairly bright note, Nasir Robinson is indeed playing as he came off the bench. However, he’s not been a factor and has only played sparingly in the first half.

The team is going to need to shoot much better or they could be in danger of losing the game.
