Central Conn. State Vs. Penn State First Half Notes: Under 12 Timeout

The Bryce Jordan Center looks pretty dead tonight. I'm home in Pittsburgh, so I can't really make an informed estimate, but this looks like its going to be the classic holiday break survival game for Penn State.

Jeff Brooks is everywhere for Penn State right now. He's attacking the basket from every angle and he's touching the ball on every possession. The senior forward already has 10 points and this game still hasn't even really established a flow yet. This is, of course, great news for Penn State.  Brooks is easily one of, if not the most athletic player on this team. His issues have always been upstairs. He's playing with confidence right now, and that's a dangerous thing.

Central Connecticut is starting to get the scoring touch in the half court. Penn State needs to weather the storm against this high flying offense and not lose its confidence. Looks like we're going to see a lot of buckets in this one.

With 10:07 to play, it's Penn State 18-15
