Pitt Moves Up To Third In AP And ESPN/USA Today Basketball Polls

After victories against Robert Morris and Penn last week, Pitt moved up to third in both the AP and ESPN/USA Today polls today. The jump was due to losses by No. 2 Michigan State and No. 4 Kansas State last week.

The Panthers remain undefeated and are one of three Big East schools ranked in the top ten with Syracuse and newcomer, UConn. The Huskies jumped into the polls in a big way after being unranked with their victory over Michigan State.

Duke remains at No. 1 in both polls.
