Greg Romeus And Henry Hynoski Trying To Get Healthy

Pitt DE Greg Romeus and FB Henry Hynoski will both look to return to action against Connecticut next week. Romeus has been out since undergoing back surgery after the season opener against Utah and Hynoski suffered a mild concussion during last week's win against Louisville.

The Panthers are on a bye this weekend and both Romeus and Hynoski are making progress.

Romeus is now back to practice and while head coach Dave Wannstedt won't commit to him playing next week, the extra rest could be enough time for him to return.

Hynoski, is not yet practicing, but indications are that he's improving. Pitt is not rushing him back to action, though:

"Henry, we're going to give him a couple days because of the concussion," Wannstedt said. "He's really bounced back very quick. I stuck my head in practice yesterday, and he was in there running the running back meeting room with the projector. He had the clicker in his hand. I don't know if that's good or bad. I thought it was a good sign."

Getting one or both players back for the road test against Connecticut would be a big boost to the team.
