Here's the Big East football schedule for this weekend. There are three games and all three will be relevant to area fans, as UConn, West Virginia and Pitt fight for a BCS berth and a share of the Big East title.
↵Cincinnati at Pitt, noon, ESPN. The Panthers will try to keep their heads up after losing control of their destiny in the Big East. Cincinnati won't be going to a bowl, but it has a tough offense and won't necessarily be a pushover.
↵West Virginia at Rutgers, noon, ABC. The Mountaineers are probably the best team in the Big East, and Rutgers are probably the worst. This one shouldn't be close.
↵South Florida at UConn, 8:00 PM, ESPN2. South Florida is out of conference contention, but the Bulls are actually slight favorites in this one after beating Miami (FL) last week. If the Panthers and/or Mountaineers win in the afternoon, they'll be glued to their TVs watching this one in the evening, since a South Florida win would put the Mountaineers or Pitt in a BCS game.
