Week 14 College Football Schedule: Three Key Games In Big East

Here's the Big East football schedule for this weekend. There are three games and all three will be relevant to area fans, as UConn, West Virginia and Pitt fight for a BCS berth and a share of the Big East title.

↵

Cincinnati at Pitt, noon, ESPN. The Panthers will try to keep their heads up after losing control of their destiny in the Big East. Cincinnati won't be going to a bowl, but it has a tough offense and won't necessarily be a pushover.

↵

West Virginia at Rutgers, noon, ABC. The Mountaineers are probably the best team in the Big East, and Rutgers are probably the worst. This one shouldn't be close.

↵

South Florida at UConn, 8:00 PM, ESPN2. South Florida is out of conference contention, but the Bulls are actually slight favorites in this one after beating Miami (FL) last week. If the Panthers and/or Mountaineers win in the afternoon, they'll be glued to their TVs watching this one in the evening, since a South Florida win would put the Mountaineers or Pitt in a BCS game.
