Pitt Football Player Jason Pinkston's House Robbed In Oakland

Offensive lineman Jason Pinkston's house in Oakland was robbed on Monday night.

Lots of bits and pieces floating around out there, but no one has yet been arrested in conjunction with it, though. In a strange twist, former Pitt player Aaron Smith, was at the house prior to the robbery, briefly left and returned, and is apparently being questioned by police:

After the two men left, the friend found Mr. Smith sitting in the stairwell of the home and told police he did not know how Mr. Smith managed to get back inside during the robbery.

No arrests have been made in the case, but police said Mr. Smith would be questioned.

Pinkston snuck out a window and went to a nearby pizza shop to call 911. The armed robbers did get away with $200.00, but it doesn't sound like anyone was harmed. Pinkston was even back at practice on Tuesday, getting ready for Pitt's matchup against Kentucky in the BBVA Compass Bowl on Jan. 8.
