Pitt running back Dion Lewis was named the Big East Offensive Player of the Week for the last week in the season. Lewis was an easy pick, obviously, as he rank for more than 260 yards and four touchdowns - both career highs. It was a good end to Lewis' disappointing season, which began with Heisman hopes.
↵West Virginia's J.T. Thomas was named as the league's Defensive Player of the Week for his play against Rutgers. Thomas registered seven tackles, a forced fumble, and fumble recovery that helped set up a Mountaineers touchdown. Thomas is one of the leaders for a West Virginia defense that ranks among the nation's best.
↵UConn kicker Dave Teggart was named as the Special Teams Player of the Week.
