New Pitt football coach Todd Graham has hit the ground running in regards to recruiting. Pitt hasn't been landing elite-level recruits yet, but since Graham was hired so late in the recruiting season, it's hard to complain about the level of recruits he's been able to get.
↵First up was Texas running back Corey Davis. Davis is a mid-level prospect who was committed to Tulsa, but recently committed to Pitt after being pursued by Graham.
↵Because Graham's offense requires a lot of running backs, it's not easy to see why he's going heavy with that position. His second commit was running back Issac Bennett. Bennett is rated lower than Davis, but was a target by Graham at Tulsa as well.
↵Three-star wide receiver Darius Patton, from Ohio, was probably the jewel of the weekend. Patton reportedly had several offers or interest from a lot of big time schools including Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and West Virginia, among others.
