College Basketball Rankings: Pitt Still No. 14 In Coaches Poll

Pitt's status remains the same this week.

The new college basketball Coaches Poll is out, and Pitt's status remains unchanged - the Panthers are still ranked No. 14 in the country after beating VMI and Oklahoma State this week to go to 9-1 on the season.

Other Big East representatives include Syracuse (No. 1), Louisville (No. 4), UConn (No. 10), Marquette (No. 11) and Georgetown (No. 17). The Big Ten is represented by Ohio State (No. 2), Wisconsin (No. 15), Michigan (No. 18), Illinois (No. 19), Indiana (No. 20), and Michigan State (No. 23).

Pitt's only opponent this week is South Carolina State, which it plays at 6:00 PM on Saturday. The Panthers have not yet played a ranked team and may not do so until January 14, when they face Marquette.
