Throughout the afternoon, Pitt football players have been reacting to the news of the departure of head coach Todd Graham to Arizona State after one year with the Panthers. Seth Rorabaugh has been collecting some of the more interesting reactions.
↵This one, from Mike Shanahan, might be the most compelling:
↵↵↵So how can coaches leave after one year but if players do we gotta sit out? After they blatantly use players
↵
He's got a point. What Graham did is so commonplace that it seems a little quaint to get too worked up about, but it does mess up the lives of the players.
↵Trey Anderson, meanwhile, goes the humorous route:
↵↵↵On the plus side, I saved money on my car insurance by switching Geico
↵
Brandon Lindsey thinks it's the BBVA Compass Bowl, which Pitt is set to attend for the second straight year, that's the problem:
↵↵↵If Pitt goes to the Compass Bowl again beware for another coaching change! This game is a curse lol
↵
Devin Street, meanwhile, is just angry.
↵↵↵I feel like dirt and I was just abused. For a year
