Chad Voytik Remains Committed To Pitt After Todd Graham's Departure

In the wake of coach Todd Graham's departure from Pitt to Arizona State on Wednesday, the status of the Panthers' 2012 recruiting class is in flux. Quarterback recruit Chad Voytik, however, a player many Pitt fans are hoping could be an answer to the Panthers' consistency problems behind center, still appears to have his heart set on taking up residence in Oakland.

ESPN's Andrea Adelson quotes an interview with the Dave Hooker of Recruiting Nation over on the Big East Blog.

"I'm pretty set, honestly, on Pittsburgh. Since I committed there, I have been. I just want to keep the guys in our class together. They're going to bring a great coach in. As long as we stick together, we're the ones going to be on that field ... then we'll be fine."

It looks like his commitment remains pretty solid, which, after news that star running back recruit Rushel Shell intends to stick things out with Pitt as well, indicates the core of Pitt's class should remain intact through the transition.
