Top Recruits Appear In McDonald's All-American High School Basketball Game

Just a reminder that the boys' McDonald's All-American High School Basketball Game is beginning now on ESPN, and it will feature top Pitt recruit Khem Birch. Joining Birch on the West team (and you can find rosters here) are Winter Park, Florida guard Austin Rivers, who is headed to Duke, and Chicago forward/center Anthony Davis, a Kentucky recruit. Duke and Rivers are arguably the country's best high school seniors.

On the East team, watch out for Elizabeth, New Jersey forward Michael Gilchrist, the third-ranked senior in the nation. Like Davis, he's headed to Kentucky. Two more Kentucky recruits, Marquis Teague and Kyle Wiltjer, will play as well. Duke has two other recruits playing in the game as well in Quinn Cook and Marshall Plumlee. Syracuse and North Carolina will also have two players each in the game.

Birch already participated in the slam-dunk competition associated with the game, and it didn't go so well. Hopefully the game itself will work out better for him.
