NCAA College Basketball Rankings: Pitt Up To No. 3

Pitt moves up to No. 3 and West Virginia moves to No. 20 in this week's NCAA College Basketball rankings. Pitt leapt over BYU, which fell after losing to New Mexico. Pitt, meanwhile, went 2-0 this week, beating South Florida and Villanova. WVU, meanwhile, had a great week, beating Connecticut and sneaking in a win against another ranked team, Louisville, at the last second. North Carolina moves up seven spots this week after beating Duke. Pitt and WVU now enter the Big East Tournament, where they'll have to run the gauntlet, with a list of other ranked participants that includes Notre Dame, Syracuse, Louisville, St. John's, Connecticut, Georgetown and Cincinnati.
