Former Pitt wide receiver and Kansas City Chiefs first-round pick may not play against the Buffalo Bills in what would have been his first NFL game, due to a thumb injury. The injury is causing him to have trouble catching the ball.
↵And how did he get that thumb injury? Well, by getting in a fight with veteran running back Thomas Jones.
↵At this point, the question of whether or not Baldwin plays may be mostly academic. As Arrowhead Pride points out, he's missed a bunch of practice time, and he's a rookie, so there's a good chance he's not going to get much attention out there even if he's completely ready to go.
↵This looks like the beginning of a potentially-disappointing start to Baldwin's NFL career. Attitude issues followed him in college, and it looks like they could continue to follow him in the pros.
