Pitt and Rutgers meet as conference foes for the last time on Saturday.

Jared Wickerham

The Pittsburgh Panthers will be looking to put a dent in Rutgers' Big East title hopes when the two teams meet at Heinz Field on Saturday. The Panthers need a win to keep bowl hopes alive, while the Scarlet Knights can clinch at least a share of the conference title.

Pitt will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak that has dropped the team to 4-6 on the year. After nearly pulling off an improbable upset of Notre Dame two weeks ago, the Panthers fell to UConn on Friday, Nov. 9.

Rutgers is 5-0 on Big East play. They defeated Cincinnati 10-3 last week, and their only loss came to Kent State on Oct. 27. The Scarlet Knights are led by a stout defense fourth-nationally in points per game allowed.

The Scarlet Knights won last year's meeting between these two teams with a 34-10 dominant victory at home. This will be the last conference clash for these two teams, as Pitt is leaving for the ACC next year. Rutgers will moving to the Big Ten in 2014.

Game time, TV channel: Noon ET, ESPN2

Online streaming video: WatchESPN

Point spread: Pittsburgh favored by 1 1/2.
