Bracketology 2012: West Virginia In SB Nation's Latest NCAA Tournament Bracket

SBNation.com's latest NCAA Tournament bracket has only one local team, the West Virginia Mountaineers, headed to March Madness. WVU is a No. 8 seed in the West. That's down from last week after the Mountaineers lost to Pitt (and beat Providence) this week.

The Big East is also represented by Syracuse (a No. 1 seed), Georgetown (3), Marquette (4), Louisville (4), UConn (7) Notre Dame (9), Cincinnati (11), and Seton Hall (13). That makes nine teams for now, but obviously, a couple of those teams could get bumped with a bad week.

The Pitt Panthers are, of course, absent from this week's bracket, as they should be. But the Panthers appear to be turning their season around, and they can certainly worm their way into the discussion by beating South Florida and Seton Hall this week. That would put them at 6-7 in the Big East, and 17-9 overall.
