2012 CBI Basketball Tournament Schedule: Washington State Vs. Pitt Series Continues Wednesday

Game Two of the CBI championship takes place in Pittsburgh at 7:00 Wednesday night between the Washington State Cougars and the Pitt Panthers.

After losing 67-66 in Pullman on Monday, the Panthers will need to win to force a decisive third game. The Cougars were without top scorer Brock Motum, but Pitt shot poorly down the stretch and couldn't cash in on a couple opportunities to win the game in its waning seconds.

It's unclear whether Motum (ankle) will be able to play on Wednesday. Either way, the Panthers will need to get something going at home. But if previous CBI matchups are any indication, they might not get much help from their home crowd. They had an attendance of 1,449 in their first-round matchup at home against Wofford, then got 2,001 in the second-round matchup against Princeton. Cardiac Hill is optimistic that attendance will be somewhat better now that Pitt is in the championship series, but the Panthers still probably won't draw enough to fill the Petersen Events Center.
