Pittsburgh Vs. Connecticut Final Score: Panthers Conclude Season With Another Loss, 74-65

The Pittsburgh Panthers closed out their regular season on the road against rival Connecticut, going down 74-65 to end the season on a loss on the road. The Panthers concluded their free fall to end the season, closing out the year losing six of their last seven games. The Panthers were dominated by halftime, going into the break down 36-22.

The Panthers were able to rally back a bit in the second half, but it just wasn't enough to climb out of the hole they had dug themselves in. J.J. Moore led the Panthers in scoring with 16 points and six rebounds, while Ashton Gibbs and Lamar Patterson added 12 points in the loss. The Huskies saw a big energy boost thanks to the return of head coach Jim Calhoun, who was recovering from surgery.
