The Big East Tournament feels like it's already been going on for about a month and a half, but in actuality, we're still only at the semifinal stage. There are two games on Friday that will decide who will play for the conference crow Saturday night at MSG. Here is a quick breakdown of each matchup. Both games can be found on ESPN or online at ESPN3.
The first game is at 7 pm and features two teams that could be a little bit tired coming off of their games on Thursday. Syracuse needed a late comeback to knock off a surprisingly tough UConn team while Cincinnati needed two overtimes to dispatch Georgetown. Syracuse is the No. 2 team in the country and the top seed in this tournament, they should be the heavy favorite.
The second game is between Louisville and Notre Dame and it starts at 9 pm. Louisville upset Marquette on Thursday, one of the favorites in the conference tournament, while Notre Dame was able to get through the tough defensive effort of South Florida.
