Let's face it - neither Ray Graham nor Teddy Bridgewater have much of a chance at winning the Heisman Trophy this season. But Athlon says Bridgewater has a better chance than Graham ... at least right now. Athlon had this to say about Graham, who they rated No. 2 behind the Louisville quarterback:
↵↵↵This talented tailback was on a tear when four plays into the primetime showdown with UConn, his season ended with a torn ACL. He had posted 939 yards rushing and nine scores in the first seven games of the year prior to the injury. If fully healthy, Graham could easily be the Big East’s top Heisman candidate now that offensive genius Paul Chryst is calling plays in the ‘Burgh.

The disclaimer about Graham's health should be noted. The questions about how close to 100 percent he might be are valid and probably the reason why he's slotted below Bridgewater. But here's the thing -- Graham has at least an outside shot at getting consideration, while Bridgewater likely does not. Graham has proven he can put up huge numbers as he did when he led the nation in rushing for a spell. Bridgewater, on the other hand, likely won't put up the big-time stats needed when it comes to a side-by-side comparison of other quarterbacks.
↵Neither is likely to even garner significant consideration, but I'd rate Graham's chances as a bit higher.
