With a few new recruits secured last weekend, Pitt football head coach Paul Chryst is on a bit of a roll. This weekend, he landed cornerback Titus Howard.
↵The reports on Howard are a bit all over the board. ESPN has him as unranked, but Scout says he is a three-star player. Howard reportedly had offers from mostly smaller schools, but UConn was on that list. From Clairton, PA, he is another local recruit for Chryst, who is hoping to make in-roads in recruiting in Pennsylvania.
↵Another important aspect in his commitment is that the Panthers surely hope he can convince wide receiver teammate, Tyler Boyd, to come along to Pitt with him. Boyd is a four-star wideout and one of the top receiving targets out there. The good news? Howard is already working on getting Boyd to come to Pitt.
