2012 NBA Draft: Pitt's Ashton Gibbs Second-Round Pick, According To Mock Draft

Ashton Gibbs appears to be a long shot to be selected in Thursday night's NBA Draft and he hasn't shown up in many mock drafts.

But one site, HoopsWorld.com, predicts Gibbs will be taken. HoopsWorld has Gibbs being selected 57th overall by the Brooklyn Nets. That's cutting it close, obviously, since there are only a total of 60 picks.

Mock drafts are always a crap shoot, but if Gibbs did end up being taken by the Nets, it wouldn't be a huge surprise. He previously attended their pre-draft camp and displayed his skills.

The fact that Gibbs isn't showing up in most mock drafts, though, might be a good indicator that he won't be picked. But either way, Gibbs will have a good chance of ending up in some team's summer camp where he'll get the chance to fight it out for a roster spot as an undrafted free agent.
