Sidney Crosby Still Without A Goal

After three games, Sidney Crosby still hasn't tallied for the Penguins yet in 2010-2011, but he came close against the New Jersey Devils on Monday.

He pushed the puck past New Jersey center Travis Zajac directly off the draw at center ice, then chased it into the Devils' zone before getting off a good shot on Devils goalie Martin Brodeur.

"I thought I might catch them off guard a bit," Crosby said. "If the puck wasn't bouncing, I think I would have been in. I thought I had a chance.

"It's good to try things sometimes, put guys on their heels a bit."

Wednesday's matchup with the Toronto Maple Leafs could offer a great chance for Crosby to get on the board, though. The Penguins' captain has 14 goals in 20 career games against the Leafs, his highest goal output against any non-divisional opponent.
