Penguins defenseman Zbynek Michalek should be on the shelf for two weeks with a right shoulder injury. He and winger Arron Asham, who also has a shoulder injury, should be back at around the same time.
↵The Pens will miss Michalek - their reliance on guys like Deryk Engelland and Andrew Hutchinson on defense has cost them so far.
↵Sidney Crosby missed practice today as well, presumably with hip problems, but he should be ready to go tomorrow against the Islanders.
