Penguins Vs. Islanders Score: Pens Come Storming Back To Tie Game At 2-2

The Islanders got out to a two-goal lead on the Penguins in the first period, but the Pens game storming back with two goals late in the period, and the game is now tied, by a score of 2-2, at the intermission.

David Ullstrom drew first blood for the Islanders with a goal four minutes into the game, and then Milan Jurcina scored a power-play goal. Two minutes later, though, Steve Sullivan scored for the Pens, with assists by Joe Vitale and Matt Niskanen, to cut the lead to 2-1. James Neal then scored his 16th goal of the season with 29 seconds left in the period to tied the game. Evgeni Malkin chipped in the assist.

Paul Martin was called for a hooking penalty with five seconds left in the period, so the Islanders will be on the power play when the game starts up again.

Marc-Andre Fleury has 11 saves so far for the Penguins.
