Penguins Release 2011 Preseason Schedule

The Penguins have released their 2011 preseason schedule, which opens September 21 at home against the Detroit Red Wings. The Pens will then take on the Blackhawks and Wild in home games. (The Minnesota game should be interesting, since former Penguins assistant Mike Yeo was just hired as the Wild's head coach.) After that they'll play the Kings in Kansas City (which Penguins fans should find strange, given that the Pens were at one point threatening to move there), followed by the Blackhawks and Red Wings on the road.

The home games against the Red Wings and Blackhawks will be included in Penguins season ticket packages. The home game against the Wild will be free for children.
